Frequently asked questions

How do I register as a vendor?

Start from the Register as a Vendor page. You verify your company by RC number (we auto-fill from CAC), create an account with MFA, complete your company profile, select the product codes you want to be qualified for, upload the ten mandatory documents, and pay the registration fee. NipeX then reviews your documents and questionnaire and schedules an on-site audit before your category and Certificate of Registration are issued.

What are the three login portals and which one do I use?

NipeXPRO has three separate portals, each at its own URL. Use the Vendor portal if you are a registered supplier managing registration, bids, and contracts; the Buyer portal if you work for an operating company publishing tenders and evaluating bids; and the Admin portal if you are NipeX administrative staff. For security, an account can only sign in through the portal that matches its role.

Who is eligible to bid on tenders?

Only vendors who are registered, prequalified, and categorised in the relevant product or service codes can be invited to and submit bids. Your harmonized category determines which opportunities you are eligible for, and each operating company may apply its own additional criteria in line with Nigerian Content requirements.

How do I get my Certificate of Registration?

Your Certificate of Registration is issued automatically once your documents and prequalification questionnaire are approved and any on-site audit non-conformances are closed. You can download it from your vendor dashboard. Note that paying the registration fee alone does not complete registration — document approval and audit are required.

I forgot my password — how do I reset it?

On your portal’s sign-in page, choose “Forgot password” and follow the link sent to your registered email address. You will need access to your multi-factor-authentication method to complete the reset. If you no longer have access to your registered email or MFA device, contact NipeX support using the details below.

How long does registration take?

Document review and questionnaire review each take roughly five business days. The on-site audit is scheduled with about 14 days’ notice, and categorisation is automatic once everything is approved. Because your progress is saved at every step, you can complete the vendor-completed stages at your own pace.

Can I update my company details or documents after registering?

Yes. You can update contact details, addresses, and renew expiring documents from your vendor dashboard. Some changes — such as ownership or category changes — may trigger a further review by NipeX to keep your prequalification status current.
